Rotapix’s New Search Engine

The team at Rotapix have decided to make their own search engine to learn more about the inner workings of crawling and indexing of the internet. Apart from normal meta crawling. We will be creating a similar system to current search engines that takes in semantic data as well as in-bound and out-bound links that can be followed. We have not decided on the ratio’s or weightings of web page elements but we will keep you up to date with its progress.

The working name of this project is “RotaBot”. We have officially started this project and will keep you updated via this blog, The Beta launch of this site has not been announced yet.
